The Whisper 100 is sold with the charge controller as an option, however most users will require one. The dedicated battery charge controller contains an excess power diversion heat element as standard. Whisper controller options go beyond the On board LED indicators to offer an optional remote monitering panel that provides real time digital display data on power production. If you choose to purchase the optional wind speed anemometer it also can connect to the remote display and provide instant as well as average wind data. Several tower hardware kits are available; the kits contain the brackets, cables and hardware to erect and support the tower, but not the actual pipe sections of the tower. This pipe is standard 2" schedule 40 water pipe sections and can almost always be obtained locally at least cost.
